Dealing with worry and anxiety in today's stressful world

Over the years I have realised that worrying is a very bad habit that we inculcate with the increasing stress in today's world. Well, we can't avoid the circumstances that we encounter but we can deal with them in a practical way to reduce the worry and anxiety.

Here is what I have learned:

There are certain things in life that are controllable like working hard for an exam or any particular event in life. However, there are other things that are not controllable like the outcome of that hard work.

This is the question you need to ask yourself to deal with worry and anxiety in life?

Is the thing I am worried about is controllable or uncontrollable?

If it is controllable then think of some possible solutions to reduce or eliminate the problem.

For example: If you are worried that you are not making the right use of this pandemic time, then do something about it. Read more and more books, consume good content and execute what you learned. This is when you practically deal with this anxiety.

The perspective totally changes when it is an uncontrollable thing.

When things didn't go as plan, we tend to feel bad per se we decided to start focussing on self-growth and being productive but things didn't go as planned. We feel bad, but is it really controllable?.

This is when you can't control the outcome, you can only do your best. So, give your best! That's it.

To summarise, give your best shot in things you plan and work for but if things go south, don't worry: don't be hard on yourself.

GAME CHANGER: CONFIDENCE

HEY PEOPLE πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„ WELCOME BACK TO MY NEXT BLOG I am really excited to share my thoughts on this topic. This is about confidence, I know there are a lot of blogs on the internet on confidence, but here I don't share any bookish knowledge. I share only my practical knowledge that I get from my own experiences.  You know recently I asked a person really close to me ''How would I get back my confidence which I believed is long gone?". She just stood there and simply told me after being silent for like 5 minutes ''Kid, it's all in your head''. I asked her what does this statement exactly means. She told me that your confidence never goes anywhere. It is always within you. It goes when you lower down your worth and start doubting yourself. I was still not convinced. Of course, I wanted to understand the depth of what she was saying. I understand there is a lot of confidence required in life, say on stage, leadership, to overcome fears, etc. ...
